The planning and implementation involved numerous local, community- based low vision, healthcare and aging services providers. Patients, family members and caregivers gathered to learn more about AMD, the latest research findings and low vision techniques. Healthcare and social services professionals provided practical and useful insights and information about local resources which participants could take with them and share with others.
